In Glottern forest you can wander through the beautiful old-growth forests or swim in lakes Glottern clear waters. If it is cold, you can warm up in the sauna! Welcome to Hertsöträsket! The latest lake in the Luleå area to be stocked with fish is Hertsöträsket, just near the Hertsön housing area. The City of Luleå Department of Recreation has stocked the lake with char and rainbow trout over the past few years. You can also catch perch and pike. There are walking trails around the lake and cabins, wind shelters and picnic areas. The lake is also accessible to disabled visitors in wheelchairs.
